About us

TBGE is a company specialized in the sale and production of energy from renewable sources and in the strategic management of energy for businesses and investors. We operate across the entire life cycle of energy projects, integrating technical, financial, and operational expertise to turn energy into a genuine driver of value, efficiency, and resilience.

We support our clients from the preliminary assessment of opportunities through to the development and management of assets, with an approach geared toward the long term and toward economic and environmental sustainability. For us, energy is not merely a commodity but a strategic asset capable of strengthening competitiveness and reducing exposure to market and regulatory risks.

Integrated Energy Solutions

An approach that combines technical, economic, and contractual expertise, supporting companies and investors in building energy models that are more efficient, sustainable, and oriented toward the long term.

We analyze operational needs and market opportunities to define strategies capable of optimizing energy management, enhancing the value of renewable generation, and ensuring greater stability and flexibility over time. Our work includes structuring solutions for energy supply and value creation, developing collaborative configurations aimed at sharing energy resources, and integrating advanced systems to improve the balance between production, consumption, and storage capacity.

Through an integrated view of the entire energy system, we help create infrastructure that is more resilient and efficient, and better able to adapt to the evolving needs of industry and the market.

POWER PURCHASE AGREEMENT

We structure and manage Power Purchase Agreement solutions designed to meet the varying needs of our clients. We build on site plants to maximize self-consumption and the stability of energy costs, as well as off site solutions based on dedicated plants.

We also support companies and investors in setting up Virtual PPAs, financial instruments that make it possible to cover energy requirements without physical delivery, and in developing market-oriented merchant projects, with the goal of optimizing the value of the energy produced.

We structure and manage several types of PPA:

ON SITE: plants built directly at the client’s site, to maximize self-consumption and cost stability
OFF SITE: energy supplied from dedicated plants located off site
VIRTUAL: financial instruments to cover energy requirements without physical delivery
MERCHANT: market-oriented projects, optimizing the value of the energy produced

ENERGY COMMUNITIES

TBGE takes an active part in energy communities as a third-party producer, contributing to the sharing of locally generated energy and to the reduction of energy costs.

This model fosters the development of local areas and the creation of shared value among businesses, citizens, and institutions, strengthening the link between the energy transition and local growth.

ENERGY STORAGE SYSTEMS – BESS

The integration of energy storage systems is a key element for efficient and resilient energy management. TBGE designs and integrates BESS solutions to increase self-consumption, improve the management of demand peaks, and stabilize generation from renewable sources.

Storage makes it possible to optimize the entire energy system, making it more flexible and better able to adapt to operational and market needs.

Renewable Asset Development

TBGE operates in the development, acquisition and construction of renewable energy assets, with an integrated approach that starts from the identification of the opportunity and extends through to construction, commissioning and subsequent plant management.

To date, TBGE is working on a portfolio of approximately 70 initiatives, for a total of around 430 MWp, of which 277 MWp are under development, 106 MWp are authorised / Ready-to-Build (RtB), 61 MWp are under construction and 43 MWp are already in operation / under management.

The development activity is mainly structured around three lines of business.

GROUND-MOUNTED PV DEVELOPMENT

TBGE develops and acquires ground-mounted photovoltaic projects, both greenfield and brownfield, with a focus on industrial areas, former quarries, suitable land, peri-urban areas and sites whose characteristics are compatible with applicable regulations.

The activity includes site scouting, urban planning and environmental assessments, constraint analysis, grid connection applications and management, permitting, corporate structuring through SPVs, technical / legal / tax due diligence and the subsequent construction phase.

ROOFTOP PV DEVELOPMENT

TBGE works with property owners, industrial tenants, real estate funds and logistics operators to install photovoltaic systems on available flat roofs and rooftops, enhancing already built surfaces and reducing the consumption of new land.

This model creates value both for the property owner, through the lease of the roof surface, and for the tenant, who can benefit from renewable energy produced directly on site.

PV PLANT LEASING MODELS

TBGE also assesses models based on rooftop leases, plant leases, surface rights, multi-site framework agreements and industrial agreements with owners of real estate portfolios.
These structures make it possible to replicate the model across multiple assets, stabilising the relationship with the counterparty and defining common rules for the development, authorisation, construction, operation and maintenance of the plant, as well as lease payments, responsibilities relating to the roof surface and purchase / step-in options at expiry.

Sustainability

Production Infrastructure Analysis and Supply Chain Optimization

We support our clients through a structured process of analyzing their production infrastructure and energy flows, with the goal of identifying inefficiencies and optimizing energy use across the entire production chain.

Our approach begins with a thorough understanding of how, where, and when energy is used. We analyze existing energy infrastructure, production lines, load profiles, and the interactions between generation, storage, and grid offtake. This makes it possible to turn energy data into operational and strategic decisions, improving efficiency and reducing the burden of energy costs on industrial processes.

Decarbonization, CRREM, and Certifications

TBGE supports its clients on the path toward reducing emissions and aligning with leading sustainability standards. In particular, we assist with alignment analysis against CRREM pathways, helping to reduce the carbon risk of real estate assets and enhance their appeal in the market.

We also help clients obtain and maintain LEED and BREEAM environmental certifications, and we define energy strategies consistent with ESG and Net Zero objectives. In this way, energy becomes a tangible means of enhancing asset value and mitigating regulatory and market risks.
